HydroPeptide – UK market entry strategy and Country Management

Who are HydroPeptide?

HydroPeptide launched in 2004 as a US based skincare brand. It creates clean, clinical skincare by harnessing the leading edge science of epigenetics and peptides. As a result, its products deliver results while remaining sensorial and luxurious. Additionally, the brand formulates them for use in professional grade skincare routines.

In the UK, HydroPeptide has built an established professional business through wholesale accounts via clinics and aestheticians. This includes Beyond MediSpa in Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge. The HydroPeptide team believes the brand can sit comfortably within highly selective premium retail, particularly where spa treatments can be activated. As a result, they recognised the need for a considered UK retail strategy to achieve this.

To address this, HydroPeptide engaged The Red Tree to develop a UK retail strategy. This would support HydroPeptide’s expansion beyond the professional skincare sector. In turn, it identified opportunities in premium retail environments where expert-led treatments can be activated.

The strategy drew on HydroPeptide’s strengths, including regenerative skincare, sensorial luxury, and proven results. Ultimately, it aimed to unlock long-term growth in the UK.

The Result

The Red Tree is now continuing the partnership. Going forward, we are supporting HydroPeptide’s UK retail strategy as it enters this next phase. This spans engaging with key external stakeholders, launching with selected premium retailers, and growing their DTC.
