Maison Louis Marie – UK market entry strategy

Who are Maison Louis Marie?

Maison Louis Marie began with Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars, a pioneering French botanist, exiled to Madagascar, La Reunion and the Mauritius Islands during the French Revolution, where he collected over 2,000 plant specimens. The story continued 200 years later with Marie du Petit Thouars utilising the family’s rich botanical history to inspire the creation of Maison Louis Marie, with luxury candles, perfumes and skincare imbued with unique floral fragrances.

Maison Louis Marie had limited UK distribution through independent stockists. Recognising the UK's potential, the brand needed a market entry strategy to build a more substantial presence.

Our work provided a high level of insight and information to build a considered UK market entry strategy for Maison Louis Marie. It assessed the best-fit target retailers, set out a top line marketing plan and identified priority actions to prepare for a UK market entry. It resulted in a sales forecast which determined the level of investment needed to build a long-term sustainable business.
