HydroPeptide – UK market entry strategy and Country Management

Who are HydroPeptide?

HydroPeptide, established in 2004, is a US based skincare brand that creates clean, clinical skincare using the leading edge science of epigenetics and peptides. Products are results driven, sensorial and luxurious and are formulated to be used in professional grade skincare routines.

In the UK, HydroPeptide has an established professional business through wholesale accounts via clinics and aestheticians, including Beyond MediSpa in Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge. There is a belief that HydroPeptide can sit comfortably within highly selective premium retail, particularly where spa treatments can be activated, and the HydroPeptide executive team recognise the need for a considered and well-thought out plan for how to achieve this.

We were engaged to develop a UK retail strategy to support HydroPeptide’s expansion beyond the professional skincare sector which identified opportunities in premium retail environments where expert-led treatments can be activated.

The strategy was rooted in HydroPeptide’s strengths – regenerative skincare, sensorial luxury, and proven results – and was designed to unlock long-term growth in the UK.

The Result

The Red Tree is now continuing the partnership to support the brand as they bring this next phase to life from engaging with key external stakeholders to launching with selected premium retailers and growing their DTC.
