Helande – Market Entry Strategy and New Product Development

Amy Derick is a highly regarded board-certified Dermatologist and the Medical Director of Derick Dermatology. Based in Chicago, Amy and her husband Michael manage their estate of 23 clinic locations.

The team approached The Red Tree as they wanted to launch a skincare range which could utilise their medical and business expertise, alongside their ready to go distribution outlets.

The Red Tree were engaged to support the brand owners and wider team with the development of the brand from concept to launch. This included completing a full analysis of the current service offer and thorough research into the market, to determine the product offer, brand positioning, routes to market and the priorities and levels of investment needed to build a long-term sustainable business.

The Result

The Red Tree continues to work with the Derick Dermatology team supporting with new product development, operational and marketing efforts after the successful launch of the Helande brand in 2025.
