About Daytox

Owned by L.A.B Cosmetics, a German incubator of beauty brands, Daytox is an antioxidant-based skincare brand. It was originally developed for an exclusive partnership with the European retailer Douglas.

The Red Tree was engaged by Herax, corporate advisors to L.A.B Cosmetics, to carry out a brand evaluation of Daytox. The aim was to identify its key priorities.

What did we do?

This brand evaluation involved assessing the brand overall, including its positioning and competitive advantage, product and formulation, retail strategy, and marketing and digital activities.

The Red Tree also created an overview of its recommendations and projections. This was shared with potential investors as part of the Information Memorandum of the sale process.

Recommendations made by The Red Tree were implemented with great success. As a result, the Daytox brand sold for €80m, a multiple of 4 x revenue.
