The Beauty Symposium delights industry guests

The Red Tree was delighted to host this inaugural event in London on 5th March 2013, delivering an eclectic mix of speakers to inform, inspire and surprise.

The Red Tree hosted the inaugural Beauty Symposium on 5th March 2013, at One Alfred Place in London.
This unique event is designed to help senior directors in well-established beauty and personal care
businesses, plus entrepreneurs running the sector’s upcoming brands, accelerate their growth.

“This is not a typical line-up of industry experts,” says Stirling Murray. “Developing a successful
beauty business involves great leadership, branding and, in today’s era, grabbing all the
opportunities that social media offers. Our speakers are all experts in these fields.”

The eclectic speaker panel included Malcolm Bell, co-founder and CEO of Zaggora, Dave
Richmond, Creative Director at R Design, and Kate Tojeiro, Executive Performance Coach at X-Fusion.

Malcolm, who launched Zaggora in 2011, explained to delegates how he harnessed social media to
sell over 500,000 products in 119 countries and became one of the fastest growing companies in the

Dave, who has worked with global clients like Crabtree & Evelyn, Tesco, Micheline Arcier, Little Me
and Eyeko, focussed on how branding can truly deliver a business’ bottom line.

Completing the line-up, Kate, who develops and mentors boards, senior leaders and teams of
companies like Google, EMAP, Barclays Capital, Rio Tinto and Accenture, discussed ‘the art of
inspired leadership’.
